Vancouver Island located just off the mainland of British Columbia Canada is 460 kilometers (290 mi) in length and 80 kilometers (50 mi) in width at its widest point. Island travel is made easy with the Inland Highway which runs from Victoria BC located at the Southern tip through to Port Hardy BC at the Northern end of the Island, providing connections with Island communities in-between.
