By the Quay is hands down the best B&B I've stayed at! I stayed there in the summer of 2011. The basement room where I stayed was themed after a cave with an enormous bathroom with a gigantic walk in shower. The bed was one of the comfiest I have ever slept in, and what brought the room to a 10+ out of 10 was the sauna that was right there in the room. The breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious and Rose happens to be just about the nicest lady a person could ever meet! I didn't have time to relax in the sunroom though it looked like the perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee and newspaper. And last of all, the price of the room was lower than that of any of the chain hotels in the area and as far as I'm concerned was of a superior quality too! Thank you Rose for offering such a unique B&B experience.

We went two times to Rose's B&B within one month because we liked it very much. Clean, comfortable and calm place to stay for trips around Port Alberni. We stayed in the green room and had a private bath asite. The breakfast was very good and Rose fullfilled our special wishes! (pancakes) We only can recommend this B&B as you feel like at home when you are far away from home.
