Overlooking the ocean on beautiful Galiano Island, Driftwood Village offers you privacy in a romantic setting. Your own cozy cottage with a fireplace, kitchen & tasteful decor, tranquillity on  2 acres of ponds, fruit trees and flowers. An outdoor hot tub, badminton court, country walks to 3 of Galiano's most spectacular parks, easy access to shops and ferries for hikers, cyclists. Frequent B C ferry service from Vancouver (Tsawwassen) and Victoria (Swartz Bay).

The charm and personality of Driftwood Village have evolved over the years and, as in any village, no two cottages are alike. Every cottage has original art, wine glasses, percale sheets, and coloured towels -- emphasizing the individuality of each. All of Driftwood's' cottages have a full private bath, well-equipped cooking facilities, and television. VCR's and a DVD player are available. All but Otter Cottage offer a fireplace with wood provided. We provide local organic fair trade coffee from Salt Spring Coffee company.

The south end of Galiano, where Driftwood Village is located, has grocery stores, gift and craft shops, a pub, a bakery and liquor store but no bank. A variety of good eating places offer lunch and there are excellent dining rooms for your evening meals. We will be happy to recommend one for your dining pleasure. A taxi service is available.
