“B&B Beyond Comparison - This is definitely the Best!!!" Having travelled travelled extensively throughout Canada & abroad I must say that Forest Reflections B&B tops everything I ever stayed at before and a lot of those were very nice B&B's as well. Forest Reflections was evreything that it was advertised to be and more. It is only about 30 minutes out of Victoria and definitely worth staying over anything in Victoria. Colin & Debra's directions on the website were easy to follow and we got to Forest Reflections without a hitch. We stayed in the Romance Room (well worth it if you want something special) and the whole place was very tastefully decorated and spotless. We asked for breakfast a little later in the morning - 9am (Debra & Colin were very flexible on the time we wanted breakfast) and had a chance to have breakfast out on the deck (Blueberry Pancakes with Real Maple Syrup-Yumm!) over looking their wonderful little lake and stunning gardens. To top it off we were entertained by a Doe and her twin fawns who strolled through the gardens in front of us having their breakfast too! We toured all around the Cowichan Valley visiting and sampling wines at various vineyards -Cherry Point is very nice and we we really liked the Red wine from Godfrey-Brownell Vineyard- ask for the William Maltman Double Red- you won't be dissappointed! Forest Reflections was also only 10 minutes from Cowichan Bay - a wonderful sea side villiage to enjoy. You must go to the "Udder Guyys" ice cream - it is the best, especially the Dark Rum & Raisin Ice Cream. Colin was also great for Dinner suggestions - we went to the Genoa Bay Cafe one night -what a gem! and then Steeples the next also great! Book early though as these restaurants filled quickly while we were there. The grounds at Forest Reflections were so serene and beautiful that it can only be described as almost a spiritual experience - especially when we had a Bald Eagle come and land in a tree by the side of the lake.We spent our last afternoon just sitting by the lake with a glass of wine and a good book. My better half even had a snooze in the hammock by the lake. Debra and Colin we thank you for making this our best B&B stay ever anywhere. We will be back for sure!
